It has become increasingly clear that Christianity, Islam and Judaism – and the relations between them – have played significant roles in the shaping of our world. The Middle East and Europe are frequently at the center of the tensions within and among the religions and religious groups that pose some of the greatest challenges of this century. In both regions, education about religion and the teaching of basic religious literacy in schools, universities and the workplace is inadequate, leading to serious misunderstanding and a seemingly endless escalation of resentment. TAU and the University of Cambridge are working together to spread knowledge of and critical insight into the three faiths.
